Description:
A manufacturing company in Appleton is seeking a Plant Accountant to join their team.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead accounting staff in financial management
- Create strategic and tactical strategies/plans to be offered to management.
- Develop and provide management financial reports as needed to assist management in achieving maximum financial success.
- Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of consolidate business results.
- Oversee the preparation of corporate tax reporting.
- Coordinate communications with external auditors.
- Proactively provide management with accurate and valuable insights to assist in their decision-making.
- Assist with the management/leadership of Human Resources activities.
- As needed, be willing to accept assignments from management to complete projects, customer and vendor relationships, and to assist in managing the banking relationship.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 5 Years of accounting experience in a manufacturing environment
