JOB DESCRIPTION:
Responsible for purchasing materials and services that meet our engineering and manufacturing standards. Managing stock levels of materials and supplies from our various partners and vendors in our supply chain in a cost-effective manner. Gather Quotes and place Purchase Orders based on daily stock level requirements. Develop and maintain professional relationships with supply chain partners. Create internal Work Orders to maintain semi-finished goods. Duties and responsibilities will be performed using VISUAL ERP (enterprise resource planning). This position reports directly to the Procurement Manager.

REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- 1-3 years’ experience with ERP, MRP, or equivalent database software; VISUAL Manufacturing preferred. (Or demonstration of strong computer technical skills).
- Strong organizational skills with database systems (such as VISUAL) and Microsoft office suite.
- Continually review and ensure that procedures, practices, and standards are being followed.
- Assist warehouse, receiving, and inventory personnel with inventory management including cycle counting.
- Able to stand, bend, lift, and/or walk for 2 hours at a time.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs. (occasional).
- Recommend and implement procurement and inventory solutions to management .
