What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Planner position at Aston Carter?
Description / Principle Duties :
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Evaluate material requirements planning (MRP) output of "New" suggestions
- Evaluate material requirements planning (MRP) output of "Change" (expedite / postpone / cancel) suggestions
- Work with cross-functional teams across operations
Qualifications :
- ERP and MRP experience
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in production planning or buying in a manufacturing environment
- Open to working with cross-functional teams across operations
Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred, or experience in lieu of a degree.
- Participation in ongoing learning and development opportunities is highly encouraged. Examples include ASCM Foundations of Supply Chain Management, ASCM Supply Chain Planning Certificate, ASCM CPIM, and ASCM CSCP.
