What are the responsibilities and job description for the Receptionist position at Aston Carter?
Job Description:
- Primary duties are to answer and route incoming calls within the company
- Route visitors and inquires to the appropriate internal and external contacts.
- The candidate will be the first person a customer speaks with, so a friendly approachable and positive attitude is important
- The ideal candidate will deliver a professional and qualified first impression to all customers
- This person has excellent communication and customer service skills
- Understands administrative and clerical procedures/systems and the ability to multitask in a busy environment
- This person can control a phone conversation with ease while also maintaining a professional demeanor
- The candidate will be involved in data entry as well as other general office duties assigned.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1-2 years Front desk or Receptionist experience - preferred
- 1-2 experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook
- Customer-Oriented - Patient with dealing with a variety of callers
- Ability to Multi-task and handle high volume of calls at one time
- Ability to focus on order entry and even some billing experience
