A Day in the Role…
- Understand the operations of assigned stores as they relate to the accounting function
- Book monthly sales and margin activity
- Monthly inventory roll-forward
- Utilize Point of Sale system to research and resolve variances
- Ensure all vendor chargeback credits are recorded and inventory removed from stock
- Reconcile company credit cards and ensure that transactions were recorded accurately
- Track and amortize prepaid assets
- Track fixed assets and book associated depreciation
- Book payroll transactions
- Analyze and journalize accrued expenses
Skills and Strengths Necessary To Be Eligible:
Accounting | Inventory | Excel |
Required Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
• 2 years of General Ledger Accounting experience
• Strong Excel Skills
