A local leader in the manufacturing space is looking for a Sr. Staff Accountant to be the point of contact between the Accounting team and the Controller/CFO.
Position: Sr. Staff Accountant

Location: Renton, beautiful office!
Schedule: Fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
Compensation: $45-$50/hour, up to $110k/year
Team: Team of 4- Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Controller & CFO, this is a new position for the company and this individual will report directly to the Controller
Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for performing complex accounting activities and financial analysis.
- Acts as the a point of contact between staff accountants and the Controller/CFO, serving to enforce and monitor compliance with company-wide accounting policies and procedures
- Ensures the integrity of accounting by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
- Prepares and records asset, liabilities, revenue, and expenses entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
- Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting, and reconciling transactions and resolving discrepancies.
- Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
- Fixed assets, inventory payroll entries
- Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
- Prepares the consolidation for the parent & subsidiary companies.
- Compile reports for management review
- Completes external audit by analyzing and reviewing general ledger accounts and providing information for auditors.
- Protects the organizations value by keeping information confidential.
- Update all procedures as needed and/or annually.
Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or business
- 3 years’ experience in a Sr. Accountant position (preferably 5 )
- Working Knowledge of US GAAP.
- Experience with multiple entities (mergers and acquisitions) and consolidation.
- Processing Month end processing, journaling, producing financials, Month end processing for trojan, journal entries, fixed assets, inventory payroll entries, month end close, bank reconciliation, streamline process and procedures
- Effective with all forms of communication with internal and external customers.
- Able to interact within a team environment.
- Ability to work through conflicts in a professional manner.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
- Capacity to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and trust.
- Responds to change productively and handles other duties as required.
- Ability to read and interpret financial data as it relates to company transactions.
- Strong computer skills with high proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, data extraction/manipulation and Outlook.
- Strong working knowledge of Word and PowerPoint.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and urgent deadlines, with complete accuracy.
- Clear focus on quality for each completed project with a great attention to detail.
- Ability to enforce policy and to continuously focus on process improvement.
- Ability to sit at a desk and computer terminal for 8-10 hours per day.
