Corporate Trainer and Consultant - Sales and Leadership

Position Overview:

Astound Broadband Powered by Wave is currently searching for a Trainer and Curriculum Consultant in our Bothell, WA or Roseville, CA office. This individual may also be located anywhere near Astound's major west coast markets. This position is responsible for designing and delivering training on a variety of subjects, and over multiple platforms (i.e. face-to-face, e-learning, webinars, etc.). The ideal candidate will have at least three learning & development experience, with an emphasis on Sales (Residential and Business Services) and Leadership training. The ideal candidate should also be comfortable delivering training to employees at all levels in the organization, and have excellent collaborative skills. Up to 20% travel to field market locations in the west coast.

***This is a hybrid position. The employee will also be accompanying Astound's sales force to the field to shadow and provide them with feedback.

The primary position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify gaps and develop targeted training
• Develop and deliver Residential and Business Services training and design curriculums and content in partnership with SMEs across the organization
• Act as a consultant and make recommendations on internal and external training initiatives in accordance with the Company's Leaders as Teachers program
• Select the most appropriate training strategies by leveraging a variety of learning platforms, e.g., virtual, classroom, e-learning, etc.
• Calculate the costs and benefits of training programs & analyze ROI
• Design, develop and deliver corporate- and Market-wide business solutions and compliance training
• Create E-learning courses on variety of technical/soft skills topics for delivery through Learning Management System
• Coach Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on course development and presentation delivery skills
• Application of adult learning theory and instructional design processes (ADDIE)
• Maintain class documentation, including registration, evaluations, and feedback via LMS
• Position will have up to 20% travel to our local field markets to provide training
• Perform other duties as assigned

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• At least three years of direct training experience (sales/leadership)
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Excellent written and oral communications skills
• Excellent presentation, project management, and organizational skills a must
• ATD Training Certificate a plus
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Articulate Storyline 360, Camtasia, and Learning Management Systems (Élan a plus)
• Must have the ability to communicate effectively with all levels in the organization
• Must be able to work in a standard office environment and at field locations
• Must have ability to operate standard office equipment
