Responsible for providing high quality patient care, displaying good skills in assessment, treatment planning, group treatment, and individual treatment. Additionally, he/she is responsible for functioning well as a member of the multidisciplinary team and participating in the unit community relations program
Requirements:
- 1-3 years’ experience Required.
- Complete position responsibilities by following established guidelines & protocols within the appropriate time frame.
Education:
- Certified Therapeutic Recreational Specialist (CTRS) preferred.
- Bachelor's degree required in B.S or related field.
- Maintain education and development appropriate for position.
Mental and Emotional Requirements
- Manage stress appropriately.
- Make decisions under pressure.
- Manager anger/fear/hostility violence of other appropriately.
- Handle multiple priorities.
- Work alone.
Physical Requirements:
- Stand for 1 hour per day.
- Sit for 2 hour(s) per day.
- Walk for 1/2 hour per day.
- Hear alarms, telephone, tape recordings, and normal speaking voices.
- Have good manual dexterity.
- Have good eye-hand-foot coordination.
- Have clarity of vision; Near = <20", Mid = >20"- <20', Far = >20'
Communication/Interpersonal Skills:
- Demonstrate good skills in all forms of communication. Work well with others in a spirit of teamwork and cooperation.
