We are seeking a Medical Lab Scientist to join their growing team!
Shift: Monday-Friday, 6:30am-3pm OR 12:30pm-9:00pm OR 3:00pm-11:30pm (rotating weekends)
Key Responsibilities:
- Conducting a wide range of laboratory tests on biological samples such as blood, urine, and tissue specimens.
- Operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Analyzing and interpreting laboratory test results.
- Collaborating with healthcare professionals to provide accurate and timely diagnostic information.
- Ensuring compliance with laboratory safety protocols and procedures.
- Participating in quality control and quality assurance activities.
- Contributing to research projects and staying abreast of advancements in the field of medical laboratory science.
Education/Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related field.
- Certification as a Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) or Medical Technologist (MT) from a recognized accrediting agency.
- Generalist experience required, including Blood Banking.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques, procedures, and equipment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of professionalism and ethical conduct.
