Type: Year Contract
Pay: 40-42 per hr
Location: Ridgefield, CT
Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine in vivo studies independently, demonstrating efficiency and minimal supervision.
- Interpret experimental outcomes and propose suitable follow-up actions.
- Assist in designing and executing non-routine experiments within obesity in vivo models.
- Apply scientific principles to conduct literature searches and extract relevant information.
- Implement new ideas and technologies pertinent to drug discovery and development processes.
- Operate and maintain lab equipment independently, troubleshooting effectively.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree with 0 years of experience or Bachelor’s Degree with 3 years of experience in a related scientific discipline.
- Experience in rodent models of obesity and routine routes of rodent dosing (i.v., i.p., p.o., s.c., and i.m.).
- Proven problem-solving abilities and the ability to contribute to experimental design and execution.
- Proficiency in written and oral communication, with the capability to contribute to technical reports and protocols.
