Location: Miami, FL
Schedule: 3rd shift M-F 10pm-6:30am
Pay: $32.51/hr
Responsibilities:
- Embeds cuts stains and performs other tasks required to process tissue in the Immunohistochemistry laboratory.
- Performs accurate gross description on tissue samples.
- Perform quality control procedures established for each method and maintains accurate records.
- Operates all instruments/ equipment according to accepted written procedures and recognizes and identifies instrument/ equipment problems.
- Meets acceptable turnaround time and productivity standards for the section.
- Complete routine and STAT testing within acceptable turn-around time guidelines
- Associates Degree
- Florida state histology license REQUIRED.
- Skilled in microtomy grossing processing embedding cutting and routine special staining techniques.
