Accounts Payable Clerk

How I will contribute

In your role as Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the finance team, while ensuring all payables are coded, recorded and paid timely and accurately. Your drive for accuracy and efficiency will be critical in your success as will be your ability to communicate with internal teams and with external vendors.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
 

• Code such items as invoices, vouchers, expense reports, check requests, statements of work and contracts with correct codes conforming to standard procedures to ensure proper entry into Netsuite
• Handles vendor correspondence, assists with maintaining accounts payable inbox
• Processes vendor invoices in Netsuite
• Processes check runs, wire transfers, and ACH transactions.
• Communicates remittance information to vendors
• Requests vendor statements and reviews accounts for completeness at end of month
• Works with business partners as needed to resolve account discrepancies
• Works with accounting department as needed to resolve AP related accounting discrepancies

What I will bring

• 1-3 years AP experience
• High School diploma or equivalency required, College degree preferred
• Knowledge of NetSuite preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent vendor communication and resolution
• Strong organizational skills; must be detail oriented
• Fast accurate data entry skills
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to track and follow up on outstanding issues.
• Ability to independently reconcile detailed accounts
