What are the responsibilities and job description for the Payroll Operations Supervisor position at Asure Software?
How I will contribute
The Payroll Operations Supervisor provides support and management to your assigned Payroll Specialist team. You will lead the group in determining any client needs, gathering information, and fostering growth and development of your team. You will report to one of our Payroll Managers.
- Assist any clients or company employees when needed
- Support and manage a client base (as necessary and as assigned by Manager)
- Responsible for the development of CSR’s in assigned team and their workload assignments (i.e. recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, time clock monitoring, Employee Self-Serve, performance reviews, etc.)
- Manage team meetings to collect feedback on questions, workloads, client issues, and training needs.
- Ensure all of your clients payrolls run on schedule, the team is providing the necessary follow-up for an overall quality customer service experience.
- Initial point of contact for any client issues or questions relating to assigned team
- Responsible for timely to all clients and employees in a timely manner
- Act as backup support as necessary
What I will bring
- Associates degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 3 years of experience or equivalent domain knowledge required
- Legally authorized to work in the US, as we are unable to sponsor or transfer Visas at this time.
- Mastery of all specific responsibilities of payroll specialist positions normally acquired through levels II
- Prior payroll or payroll tax background a plus
- Strong Microsoft office skills
- Resourceful and adaptable to change
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and exceptional customer service skills a must
