Head of Demand Generation
We’re building a movement in the red-hot customer experience technology space, and you’re in the driver’s seat. If that sounds exciting, read on...Simplr is looking for an ambitious, creative, and metrics-driven Head of Demand Generation to lead our demand generation strategy, fuel our sales growth, and support a growing sales team.The right marketer will be adept in creating programs that drive leads to and through the funnel, with a focus on marketing to enterprise companies. Reporting to the CMO, they will develop and execute the demand gen strategy while leading and building the team (currently at 3).
Responsibilities:-Demonstrate our “learn it all, not know it all” value by creating a testing framework to ensure we are finding new avenues for demand generation
-Execute demand generation programs that drive pipeline for our sales teams using a variety of channels, including events, webinars, email, web, content, direct mail and digital marketing tactics-Develop a deep understanding of the Customer Experience industry-Work with marketing and sales leadership to develop marketing plans, secure budget, and report results-Create marketing personas tied to specific customer needs and preferences-Develop programs targeted towards engaged prospects within our ICP, in concert with sales-Execute account based marketing activities (in collaboration with our ABM Manager) targeted at our key vertical segments leveraging our product marketing to tell compelling stories to the personas-Drive customer marketing programs to build pipeline of qualified opportunities within our TAM
Preferred Qualifications:-10 years of marketing experience, with at least 3 years experience in leadership role for a technology company
-Experience in developing skill sets of direct reports and strong managerial credentials-A data driven mindset with a track record of meeting and exceeding KPIs-Experience with a marketing automation tool (Hubspot preferred)-Experience with developing a demand generation strategy to capture leads at large companies, including a cross-channel account-based approach to enterprise accounts-Excellent communication skills with ability to clearly convey ideas and data in written, presentation, and spoken formats to a variety of audiences-Confidence to work independently and create your own content while building your brand-Category-building experience and a “go big” mindset
