The Goals and Challenges of this Role:
- Create 3D Engineering Models of Components and Assemblies
- Create 2D Technical Drawings for Fabrication
- Skill and competency at blueprint reading
- Ability to interpret complicated and incomplete drawings and make sense of them for the fabrication Team
- Understand and become an expert in shop fabrication processes
- Daily communication ability to collaborate with a cross-functional production team
- Managing PLM and Rev controlled documents
- Ability to multitask and self direction
- Strong math skills and Computer literacy
What You Should Bring to this Role:
- Inventor (or SolidWorks) and AutoCAD proficient
- Associates in Engineering preferred and/or relevant experience
- 2 to 5 years of direct related experience
- BSME in lieu of 2 years' experience
- Understanding of ASME/ASTM Drawing Standards
- GD&T experience is a plus
- Experience with Inventor Sheet Metal Tools is a plus
