At Home Group is seeking a highly motivated self-starter to lead the development and enhancement of the Company’s treasury capability. The Director of Treasury is responsible for ensuring the accurate execution of financial transactions on a daily basis and plays a key role in the treasury department. This role is responsible for daily cash management and cash forecasting, ensuring bank compliance, account maintenance, relationship management and should strive to identify needs and develop solutions to improve financial and process performance. As a key member of the finance team, the Treasury Manager will report to the SVP/Treasurer, and will work closely with the entire finance and accounting teams in creating plans, ensuring appropriate controls are in place, forecasts, assist with month end and quarter end Treasury close, account reconciliations, and facilitate treasury audit requests. This position will also serve as a key partner to the Company’s financial service providers. The leader will lead a team of two (Senior Treasury Analysts) and be ultimately responsible for store cash services including armored card, banks supplies, and BOPUIS related matters. This individual will work closely with Loss Prevention and collaborate on fraud related matters involving customers and/or employees. This individual will play an integral role in sale leaseback transactions and other financing initiatives including but not limited to support of the At Home Credit Card program. This leader will also own the Fiserv and American Express relationships and serve as the direct contact on all matters related to credit card processing, transactions, etc. The Director of Treasury and their respective team will partner with the SVP/Treasurer and be responsible for working collaboratively to ensure best in class Treasury services.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
• Manage team of two and serve in a leadership and mentoring capacity
• Work collectively with Treasurer to facilitate Financing transactions including but not limited to Sale Leaseback Transactions and Mortgages
• Assist with management of Asset Based Lending (ABL) facility and High Yield Senior Notes
• Serve in the role of Cash Manager, overseeing the management of daily cash
• Lead cash forecasting function partnering accordingly with FP&A and Accounting
• Play an integral role in the administration of the Company’s private label and co brand credit card
• Contract management and review
• Oversee New store set up process
• Provide oversight and direct Armored Car set up for new stores
• Facilitate relationships with providers, and perform account reconciliation(s)
• Oversee Fiserv, AMEX, and Discover relationship
• Serve as chargeback and EMV Subject Matter Expert with responsibility of managing program
• Manage Administration and maintenance of Corporate Credit Card Program
• Serve in the capacity as a Bank Administrator, determine segregation of duties and appropriate levels of access for Treasury and Accounting.
• Oversee Gift Card Program (in-store and digital), serve as Subject Matter Expert and liaison with appropriate parties
• Determine optimal timing of short-term borrowings (Prime vs Libor)
• Work closely with CFP and SVP/Treasurer to provide analysis and options on special projects
• Develop annual budget for Treasury related costs (cost center, bank fees, credit card fees, cash short, etc.)
• Bank Account Management & Compliance
• Manage daily relationship with the Company’s banks, attorneys, and partners
• Liaise with bank regarding bank account issues
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, and annual bank compliance, including requirements for notification under the Company’s debt agreements
• Implement policies, internal controls, and reduce exposure associated with misappropriation of cash and cash equivalents
• Work with stores and Loss Prevention to reduce risks of cash/card shrink
• Assist with financial system setup for bank structure, including testing and implementation
• Assist with treasury information requests, provide support to accounting team as needed
• Provide support for the Financial Planning & Analysis team during the planning process
• Manage and server as Subject Matter Expert for Treasury Management System – Kyriba
• Must partner across the organization with FP&A, Accounting, Real Estate, Operations, Tax, Payroll and Audit
• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for BOPUIS
• Must represent Treasury and have a lead role in the BOPUIS switch from KIBO to Manhattan
• Will be required to lead AURUS initiative, switching from Payeezy to Aurus
• Will serve in a leadership role partnering with AURUS and Synchrony to enable on-line functionality of At Home Credit Card
• Will lead in partnership with Payroll the Paycard initiative
• Serve as backup to SVP/Treasurer and play a lead role in the Treasury department as a resource and go-to for all things Treasury
Qualifications & Competencies:
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
• At least 10 years of experience in Treasury, Finance or Accounting roles, retail or restaurant treasury operations experience a plus
• MBA, CFA, CPA or CTP desired, but not required
• Microsoft Office required: advanced Excel knowledge preferred
• Must have analytical skills, be detail oriented and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
• Detail oriented, deadline driven, organized individual able to handle multiple tasks while working independently or as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and proven problem-solving skills
