Position summary
The Marketing Coordinator has responsibility for coordinating internal and external promotions for all events within the Sales & Marketing Department. This position works collaboratively with many departments internally and with outside agencies, companies, trade organizations, etc. The ideal candidate must possess strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
Duties and responsibilities
Marketing
- Executes or assists in executing all promotional activities required as part of the overall Marketing and Sales strategies.
- Coordinates or assists in the logistics for trade shows to include rental of booth space, design, layout and set-up of booths, tool and other equipment delivery to the venue, plans for booth shipping schedules and other related activities to ensure effective marketing results from trade shows.
- Issues internal communications, itineraries and schedules for promotional and trade show booth activities.
- Compiles and distributes product literature in a timely manner to the sales team.
- Ensures all product literature stock levels are maintained at a level to support on-going demand.
- Maintains the Test Tool database request for quotes
- Tracks invoices & expenses against budget
- Responds to fulfill requests for catalogs, brochures, images, etc.
- Assists other associates within Customer Service, Sales & marketing for customer solutions
- Participates in team projects/cross-functional teams as needed
Sales
- Assists with development of new sales & promotional items such as new catalogs, brochures, sales sheets, advertisements, e-blasts, etc.
- Produces various reports - daily Production Report, In-process, invoice detail, sales & gross margin analyses, etc. as determined to manage the Sales department
- Produces daily International Shipping Schedule
- Manages inventory of in-house premiums and fulfillment of contest prizes
- Assists with data collection, analysis & dissemination of potential sales leads
- Utilizes various sources of sales information for analyses
- Coordinates Tool Clinics & other sales and/or marketing related training activities
- Assists in coordinating product launches
- Assists in coordination and collection of case studies
- Assists in planning and executing annual sales meeting
- Maintains clean and organized work area.
- Other duties as assigned

Qualifications
- Five (5) years experience in manufacturing supply chain operations; degree in Logistics or Marketing preferred
- Demonstrated ability to exercise judgment, confidentiality and discretion in the handling business information
Working conditions
This position will be located in a standard office environment and will require some warehouse and plant working to gather information as needed. This position will use a computer and other office equipment, such as a copier. It is typically a day shift position, but also may require working different shifts, evening and weekend hours, and required or voluntary overtime as business needs require. This position will also require working with clients and customers in order to be successful in the role.
Physical requirements
This would include any requirement to stand or sit for extended periods of time, lifting on a regular basis, doing repetitive tasks, bending or kneeling, walking around the facility, climbing, and so forth.
