Overview
The Manager, Operations is a leader of the ATCC Federal Solutions (AFS) Operations team which supports the NIAID-funded government contracts. They are responsible for managing business process development, implementation, review, and improvement to advance the management efficiency of relevant contracts for ATCC Federal Solutions. They oversee biorepository operations for the NIAID-funded government contracts. They track and monitor progress of projects and workflows and make recommendations to improve efficiencies. They support the implementation of plans, projects, policies, and procedures. The Manager, Operations will be expected to contribute within their own teams as well as cross functionally towards the overall goals and objectives of ATCC. This position is on-site at our Manassas, Virginia campus.The Manager, Operations follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. They occasionally develop and administer schedules and performance requirements. They serve as an advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and resolve problems. They also work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors.

Qualifications
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree and 7 or more years' experience, including 2 or more years' supervisory experience or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in life science preferred.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience in biorepository operations, cold chain storage, shipping and/or receiving highly preferred.
- Experience utilizing an ERP system for production and supply chain management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to obtain select agent clearance.
