Technical Documentation Specialist
The Technical Documentation Specialist will coordinate and consult with the Engineering team to increase our documenting efficiencies and consistencies throughout our organization, producing high-quality documentation that impacts the overall success of ATL. They will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, while leading documentation initiatives, and applying and recommending techniques as appropriate.
What you will be doing:
The Technical Documentation Specialist will be responsible for the creation and editing of various documents including: Quality Management Documents, Standard Operation Procedures (SOP), Engineering test plans and reports, Product specifications and Testing protocols.
This role will prepare and manage document Engineering Change Request, Change Sheets and Engineering Change Notice, as well as its implementation. They will ensure compliance to internal quality management system and industry standards such as ISO 13485:2016 and 21 CFR 820.
The Technical Documentation Specialist may be required to travel both domestically and internationally as needed.
What we expect from you:
Our ideal candidate will have a degree in Engineering, Technical Writing, Journalism, English, Writing, Communications or comparable degree or equivalent relevant experience.
Experience and knowledge in the medical and/or technical industry involving engineering is preferred as well as experience working in a medical regulated organization utilizing ISO 13485 & 21 CFR 820 i.
