What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quick Cafe Associate position at Atlanta Botanical Garden Inc?
Description
In order to ensure the safety of our employees and guests during the COVID-19 pandemic, the Atlanta Botanical Garden follows the recommended guidelines of the CDC. COVID 19 Vaccination is required for all new hires.
PRINCIPAL FUNCTION: This position provides excellent customer service to our guests who choose to purchase food and drink either from our Quick Café
- Provide quality customer services
- Answer inquiries as needed
- Operate the espresso machine
- Stock Quick Café inventory
Requirements
- One year experience in related food service
- One year experience at using a POS register
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Positive interpersonal skills required.
- Basic menu knowledge and a general knowledge of the Garden and restaurant
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Constant standing with frequent walking
- Frequently lifts/carries up to 25 lbs
WORKING CONDITIONS
- May be indoor or outdoor setting depending on schedule needs
- Varied weather conditions are expected
- Varying schedule to include evenings, holidays and extended hours as business dictates
