Position: Certified OT Assistant
Job Description:
The Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant is responsible for assisting the Registered Nurse in the delivery of care to our patients. This position is supervised by the Registered Nurse and is responsible for the following duties:
- Assisting Registered Nurse with assessments and plan of care
- Administering OTA treatments per treatment plans and treatment protocols (including but not limited to patient assessments, otorhinolaryngology, oral/nasal medication administration, etc.)
- Documenting all services provided
- Calling patients' parents or guardians to update them on a patient's status
- Preparing and maintaining medical records
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma/GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 1 year experience in Occupational Therapy with a minimum of one year as a COTA
- Current CPR/First Aid certification (BLS) required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test

Pay: $16.07 - $19.35 per hour
