Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Position Summary
RBT will provide services to individuals enrolled in the Autism Clinical Services.
RBT will be supervised by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
Essential Job Functions:
Responsible for implementation of skill acquisition and behavior reduction programs utilizing applied behavior analysis (ABA) principles, as designed and instructed by the BCBA.
Implements programming in one on one, group, or classroom settings.
Collects and records data to track client behavior throughout intervention sessions, according to the guidelines provided by their clinical supervisor.
Completes required paperwork including, but not limited to, daily clinical notes, behavior tracking sheets, and skill acquisition programs immediately following each scheduled session.
Submits required paperwork in a timely manner.
Organizes and creates instructional materials for client's session to ensure behavior momentum during sessions.
Participates in training related to ABA and autism to ensure delivery of the highest quality of care to each individual we serve.
Works collaboratively and demonstrates a professional attitude with the clinical team members including; BCBA, lead RBT, parents, and other professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care for each client.
Is receptive and responsive to supervision and feedback regarding job performance and duties from supervising clinical staff.
Sensitive to each client and their family's culture and lifestyle. Communicates with supervisor any concerns in regards to parent/caregiver/families.
Is punctual and reliable, showing up on time for each scheduled session.
Communicates and receives authorization from the supervisor for any changes to
schedules and client programs.
Utilizes any software (including but not limited to Central Reach) needed to deliver and track the client’s program data.
Maintains an objective and professional relationship with clients/families/caregivers.
Reviews the child’s goals/behavior intervention plan with caregivers as directed by BCBA.
Maintains RBT Certification with Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) and
follows guide outlined by BACB for holding RBT certification.
Maintains required BLS/CPR certification.
Minimum Qualifications:
Applicants must be 18 years or older, High School diploma or the national equivalent from an appropriately accredited institution is required; a college degree is preferred.

COVID-19 considerations:
Clinicians are required to sanitize at the start of and frequently throughout the session, wear masks, practice social distancing as applicable, and
any who see multiple clients on the same day will change clothes in between the appointments.
