About The Job Position Summary: The primary mission of the Human Resources Coordinator is to facilitate and support the HR administrative processes by delivering best in class HR service. Functions as a first point of contact for basic employee inquires which requires an in-depth knowledge of policies, procedures, processes and work rules. Requires a proactive approach to escalate solutions that enhance and streamline processes to ensure an engaging colleague experience. Responsibilities: Support HR alignment with business by supporting for a wide variety of administrative activities in the areas of HR process, employee inquires, payroll, performance management, colleague engagement and tracking of HR metrics. Assist centralized talent acquisition team by attending local events and supporting the candidate experience as needed. Work with centralized learning to schedule and track training and development courses to meet leadership needs and ensure federal, state and local compliance where necessary. Support the facilitation of an engaging onboarding process for new hires by ensuring that new hire inductions are conducted with a handover to the business. Attend leadership meetings on a regular basis to stay abreast of the priorities and initiatives of the various teams. Promote colleague engagement through support of the open door policy. Ensure any and all colleague complaints are escalated to the business partner in a timely manner. Seek opportunities to collaborate with the business on all HR practices including policies and employment law relating to attendance, performance, payroll and behavior. Handle the administration of unemployment compensation responses and hearings. Seek opportunities to improve processes within the scope of HR to reduce costs and increase efficiency of the Human Resources function. Oversee the process and assist employees with understanding their rights and responsibilities pertaining to the federal, state and company leave. Own and timely execute Workday responsibilities specific to HR Operations and Timekeeping. Continue to seek opportunities to improve Workday processes. Support the pre-employment and post-accident drug testing process. Partner and deliver results in a matrix organization. Complete other projects as assigned or as needs are recognized. Required Skills and Abilities Ability to work in diverse work environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on the client Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to comprehend, interpret, and apply the appropriate sections of applicable laws, guidelines, regulations, ordinances, and policies Ability to acquire a thorough understanding of the organization's hierarchy, jobs, qualifications, compensation practices, and the administrative practices related to those factors Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
