We’re hiring entry-level helpers, electrical apprentices, and mechanics with at least 1 year of electrical/general construction experience for long-term positions. Ideal candidates are seeking a future career in the electrical field.
We're looking for ambitious workers who want to grow their knowledge of the residential/light commercial electrical trade while helping our experienced techs in Ocean City, MD and surrounding areas.
Daily Work/Tasks:
· Able to understand and follow instructions in a safe and efficient manner.
· Able to lift up-to 40 lbs. at any given time.
· Assist in pulling wire, lifting, hoisting, and positioning materials.
· Maintain tools, equipment, parts, and supplies organized and in appropriate storage areas.
· Keep work areas clean by collecting and disposing of scrap and excess materials.
· Safely operate hand tools and/or equipment under direct supervision or independently.
· Assist in electrical installations, connections, and terminations as instructed by Supervisor.
· Able to positively identify colors of conductors and related materials.
Skills/Abilities:
· Good situational awareness and a positive, proactive attitude
· Good work ethic, trustworthiness, and a willingness to learn
Minimum Experience/Qualifications:
· Construction Experience or Residential Electrical Experience: 1 year (Required)
· High School Diploma or GED (Required)
· Driver's License (Required)
· Work Authorization (Required)

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour (based on skills and experience)

Physical Demands/Work Environment:
Work is medium to heavy demand. Must be able to move objects and use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue. Constant movement and use of limbs; this position requires good manual dexterity, coordination and stamina. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands, fingers, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee must be able to lift up to 80 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Requires good visual acuity and hearing.
Repetitive, physical work. Regularly exposed to dusty conditions, extreme temperatures, high noise level, chemicals, fumes, airborne particles, ambient weather conditions, hazardous machinery, precarious places, close proximity to other employees. Sometimes works on scaffolds and ladders for periods of time. To avoid injury, safety clothing required along with safety devices to protect eyes, head, or hearing. Travel required to/from job sites in Worcester and surrounding counties.
