Geotechnical/Environmental Driller’s Assistant
Atlantic Testing Laboratories (ATL) is a full service engineering support firm, with over 50 years of experience, consisting of ten offices located throughout New York State.
ATL is committed to providing quality service to our clients and promotes a culture that encourages employee safety and satisfaction.The driller’s assistant position is a physically demanding position and the candidate must have the ability to routinely lift 75 lbs., enjoy working outdoors, and possess a satisfactory driving record.
Responsibilities include assisting the driller with all phases of drilling operations, logging & completing field logs, and assisting in mobilizing and demobilizing to and from project sites. No previous drilling experience necessary, but familiarity with construction type equipment a plus. Class A or B CDL preferred or ability to obtain a CDL within 6 months. Extensive travel throughout NY State required.
