Admissions Specialist

Atlas is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Admissions Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing various aspects of our admissions process and coordinating engaging events for our community. You will play a pivotal role in promoting Atlas Immersion Academy and ensuring a positive experience for prospective families and current students alike.

Key Responsibilities:

Enrollment & Marketing:

• Coordinate and conduct Atlas Admissions Tours and Open House events.
• Engage with prospective clients at Atlas Calendar events with a marketing or outreach focus.
• Represent Atlas at fairs, enrollment events, and community gatherings.
• Communicate daily with Virtual Assistants regarding promotions and marketing materials.
• Answer the dedicated Admissions telephone line and follow up with messages promptly.
• Guide families through the admissions process and follow up as needed to meet enrollment goals.
• Attend monthly meetings to ensure marketing effectiveness and alignment with enrollment strategies.

Events Planning Committee:

• Attend meetings for the Events committee.
• Plan and participate in all Atlas community events.
• Coordinate event logistics including venue selection, catering, performers, and security.
• Manage RSVPs and track budget expenses.
• Document events through photography and maintain an organized digital archive.
• Prepare and distribute event materials, souvenirs, and marketing collateral.
• Oversee campus directors during events, delegating tasks and ensuring completion.
• Participate in enrollment fairs and community events to promote Atlas.
  
  

Cultural Ambassador Teacher (CAT) Support:

• Manage the Atlas CATS Liaison and ensure completion of all tasks through regular check-ins, scorecards, and tracking systems.
• Organize one fun event per month for the CATs program participants.
• Ensure completion of cultural requirements for CATs, such as cooking classes, audio recordings of children’s books, and participation in Arts & Culture week.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field preferred
• Prior experience in event planning, marketing, or admissions is preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace specifically Excell.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed for events.
