We use conventional tools, robots, and drones to conduct surveys and perform certifications, and to provide real-time GPS and aerial mapping. Basic Responsibilities:
- Respond to a wide and varied array of user requests for service and support, troubleshoot issues and problems and work with senior IT staff to develop and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot and support various workstation PC hardware components, troubleshoot and support various general-purpose office equipment (laser printers, plotters, and automatic document scanners), desktop operating system software, and application software.
- Perform minor repairs to workstation PC hardware and general-purpose office equipment and arrange third-party vendor support if necessary.
- Install and monitor various software and application updates
- Monitor backup systems and procedures to ensure data availability and accessibility.
- Record activities, solutions and other responses to requests for service.
- Assist in maintaining inventory records and documentation for equipment.
- Consult with senior IT staff to perform research and evaluate products to assist in the selection
and purchase of equipment and installation or upgrade of systems. - Assist users in determining appropriate software configurations to meet needs.
- Develop and provide user training for basic hardware and software use.
- Provide backup technical support for distributed network infrastructure (edge routers, overlay networks, switching infrastructure, and wireless access point), power conditioning systems, telephone systems, building perimeter alarm systems, and video security monitoring systems.
- Maintains open communication and positive working relationship with staff.
- Perform other duties/projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
- At least one year of Tier-1 or entry-level IT Support Helpdesk experience is preferred.
- Previous work in a related industry (i.e., commercial or residential real estate development, construction, professional surveying or architectural firm) a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written non-technical communication skills.
- Excellent technical writing skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with various other staff groups and to represent Atlas professionally with clients and prospects.

Physical Requirements:
While performing this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, talk and hear. The employee may occasionally, bend, stoop, and reach, and lift or move up to 25 pounds.
