Atlas Technologies, Inc. is currently seeking an senior level Information Security Officer to serve as the industry IA lead. You will develop IA vulnerability POAMs to align critical resources against program and budget timelines, and you will develop strategies and tools to gain efficiencies in maintaining the systems security posture. This position will be accountable for defining, tasking, and tracking priorities to deliver results in line with our customers strategic objectives. Our ideal candidate will have a depth and breadth of IA knowledge and strong verbal and communication skills that can communicate on both a technical and project management level.
You Will:
- Lead cybersecurity risk meetings with appropriate personnel
- Develop strategies for future IA posture maintenance
- Ensure certification compliance of product procurements
- Distribute new IA requirements as they become available
- Identify, analyze, prioritize, resolve, and monitor cyber security risks
- Document and log cybersecurity risks and mitigation plans
- Oversees Information Assurance and Risk Management Framework processes and performs duties as Information Security Manager
- Ensure other IT support personnel monitor all available resources that provide warnings of system vulnerabilities or ongoing attacks
- Communicates with internal and customer project leads.
- Coordinates with personnel on system security compliance and Information System Authority to Operate.
- Ensure Configuration management policies and procedures for authorizing the use of hardware/software on an IS are followed
- Coordinate Information Security Reviews, Security Inspections, and Tests
- Assesses system security threats/risks.
- Validates system security requirements, definitions, and analysis.
- Assists with assessment and authorization process as needed.
- Tracks and validates security incidents and may be required to investigate, document, report, and provide future protective and corrective measures in response to such incidents.
- Ensure proper measures are taken when an incident or vulnerability is discovered
- Leads Leadership Briefings on system security compliance and Information System Authority to Operate (ATO) compliance, expiration and actions.
- Helps to implement the Risk Management Framework (RMF) methodology to successfully implement an information technology process which shall effectively protect the element's information assets and its ability to perform its mission.
- Populates and maintains eMASS with bodies of evidence to support system accreditation actions.
- Report onsite twice weekly
You Have:
- United States Citizenship
- Willingness to be onsite 40 percent of the time (2 days per week).
- Possession of and the ability to maintain a minimum of a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Level Security Clearance
- Demonstrated, recent, and relevant experience working with senior government managers of IA issues
- Excellent communication skills demonstrating an ability to communicate on both a technical and project management level
- Experience preparing formal written technical content for the development, implementation, and management of projects
- The ability to attend multiple scheduled meetings on a regular basis
- The ability to multi-task and balance multiple goals and priorities.

- The ability to express ideas clearly and diplomatically
- The ability to work efficiently and proactively without constant supervision
- 10 years' progressive experience as an Information Assurance technician/manager
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics is preferred, but experience may be substituted for degree
- Certified IAM III and/or IAT III, with recent and relevant DoD experience in IA preferred
- Active CISSP Certification, or equivalent
