Your future team
We are looking for a Creative Director to partner with art directors, designers, copywriters, producers, researchers, and product marketers to develop creative on behalf of the Atlassian brand, ensuring a consistent voice through all touch points. You are a strategic thinker with a track record for leading efforts to execute across film, social media, web, OOH, and events.
You thrive in a fast-paced, iterative, semi-structured environment. You are be comfortable guiding teams, agencies and/or production partners, but are also willing to roll up your sleeves to do the work.
This remote role will report to our Executive Creative Director.

\n- Oversee the strategy and creative direction of marketing creative
- Manage development of executions that resonate with a range of audiences while maintaining consistency for the brand
- Develop original breakthrough ideas for a variety of marketing touch-points
- Work cross-functionally, balancing the needs of partners and breaking down complex narratives into simple, compelling ideas
- Create and sustain a culture of excellence, partnering with producers, program managers, and product marketing managers
- Collaborate with designers, researchers, product managers, product marketers and engineers to serve a global audience
- You have 15 years of experience in a global role as a Creative Director at a creative agency and/or an internal client side
- Experience managing consumer marketing programs in a data-driven, integrated marketing environment
- Experience in many creative disciplines, including product, film, OOH and events
- Experience across creative expression: traditional, digital (including products), experiential with ideas that drive earned media
- You lead break through, integrated marketing campaigns
- You understand how to work effectively and build partnerships with cross functional teams and lead with influence at all levels
- Experience building, managing, and mentoring in-house and external teams in creative strategy, execution, and production
Compensation
At Atlassian, we strive to design equitable and explainable compensation programs. To support this goal, the baseline of our range is higher than that of the typical market range, but in turn we expect to hire most candidates near this baseline. Base pay within the range is ultimately determined by a candidate's skills, expertise, or experience.
In the United States, we have three geographic pay zones. For this role, our current base pay ranges for new hires in each zone are:
Zone A: $187,400 - $249,800
Zone B: $168,600 - $224,800
Zone C: $155,500 - $207,400
This role may also be eligible for benefits, bonuses, commissions, and equity.
