Shifts Available: 2pm-10pm & 10pm - 6am. Sunday - Saturday.
Rates: $18-25 per hour with weekly pay.
Responsibilities of the HHA role include:
Household Management Duties

Light Housekeeping:
- Dusting and vacuuming living areas.
- Sweeping and mopping floors.
- Cleaning bathrooms, including toilets, sinks, showers, and tubs.
- Cleaning kitchens, including wiping down counters, cleaning sinks, and maintaining appliances.

Laundry:
- Washing, drying, folding, and ironing clothes and linens.
- Putting away clean laundry.

Meal Preparation:
- Planning and preparing meals according to dietary needs and preferences.
- Ensuring food safety and proper storage of leftovers.
- Cleaning up after meals, including washing dishes and maintaining a clean kitchen.

Shopping and Errands:
- Grocery shopping and purchasing household supplies.
- Running errands such as picking up prescriptions or mail.

Trash Disposal:
- Taking out the trash and recycling.
- Ensuring proper disposal of household waste.
Safety and Maintenance Duties

Home Safety:
- Ensuring pathways are clear of obstacles to prevent falls.
- Checking that smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors are functioning.
- Reporting any maintenance issues or hazards to the appropriate person or agency.

- Making the bed and changing linens regularly to ensure cleanliness and comfort.

- Helping clients organize their living spaces to improve accessibility and reduce clutter.
- Assisting with seasonal cleaning tasks and organizing storage areas.
Companionship and Support

Companionship:
- Providing social interaction and companionship to reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation.

Administrative Duties

- Coordinating with other IHSS providers, such as Home Health Aides or Personal Care Assistants, to ensure comprehensive care.

- Attending required training sessions and maintaining any necessary certifications.
