What are the responsibilities and job description for the Telesales Consultant position at ATN International, Inc.?
Telesales Consultant is responsible to handle the inbound & outbound sales calls with a high close rate. Be able to effectively understand customers’ needs and transition the call into a successful sale with installation appointments. Can effectively locate consumer within the sales footprint and provided them with the best service for the area. Will effectively maintain high satisfaction for existing customer base. Build the value and set expectations so that the customer understands the services they signed up for and the timeline of the installation. Effectively talk the consumer through the service agreement and get a verbal agreement at end of call. Sales goals will be provided on a monthly planning basis. Agent will be expected to perform with integrity and own the consumers experience through the first 90 days of the consumer’s tenure. Sales consultants will also comprise the door-to-door team roles, Reps will be asked to travel to new areas to sell or presell as the network and leadership see fit.
Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Reports directly to the Sales Lead.
- Complete inbound calls and outbound campaigns with a high conversion rate.
- Maintain excellent customer satisfaction with new and existing consumers
- Own the customer experience from answering the phone through the 90-day post install.
- Ability to assist with customer basic tech support questions.
- Possesses an excellent understanding of sales, distribution, fixed wireless broadband, and installation
- Actively participates in sales competitions
- Competitive, social, and physical landscape of the market.
- Upholds existing Choice policies
- Be the expert on consumer and SMB for all product lines (Broadband, Wireless, and VoIP)
- Effectively use and execute the mapping software to get consumers accurate latitude and longitude.
- Be able to travel 20% of the year for training and door to door campaigns.

Education and Experience Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 1-year sales or support experience
Preferred Qualifications:
- Call center experience
- Working knowledge of Choice Billing and support systems as well as Microsoft Office suite
- Thorough understanding of industry-wide wireless products and services
- Bilingual speakers are not required but desired
