Description:
We are seeking a Staff Associate Contractor to work on tax incentive projects. You'll help shape a new business at Client and help to drive market penetration of new and existing product lines in this space.
We seek a candidate eager to join a start-up atmosphere, someone who is able to adapt readily, instill confidence in internal and external partners and drive results. Comfort with ambiguity and a high aptitude for adaptability are necessary.
As the ideal candidate, you'll need to be able to quickly prioritize opportunities and have a strong drive for accomplishment. Strong written and verbal communication skills, and ability to convey ideas and information through slides, as well as verbal and written materials is required. The ability to raise issues before they turn into problems is critical. Strong organization, time management, problem solving, and communication skills are essential. • Managing a robust portfolio of tax incentive projects consisting of multiple internal and external teams
• Identifying and managing risk in a thoughtful, wise, and logical manner
• Quickly grasping new technologies and learning a new business
• Interviewing clients to obtain necessary project information
• Conducting research and analysis critical to project success
• Providing top-notch customer service to our clients
• Developing familiarity with tax concepts
• Using excellent organizational and time management skills to solve problems and serve clients
• Acting as a liaison between our clients and appropriate government agencies
• Managing a portfolio of tax incentive projects
• Interviewing clients and conducting research and analysis to assist the team in determining client eligibility for relevant tax credits
• Acting as a liaison with government agencies to follow up on status of previously claimed tax credits
Qualifications
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks, take initiative and prioritize multiple work items.
• Must remain flexible and be comfortable with ambiguity within a very demanding, constantly changing environment.
• Experience managing transformative initiatives
• Knowledge of human capital management systems and/or HR/Payroll/Tax related product offerings a plus
• Proven record of meeting tight deadlines while providing excellent customer service
• Highly developed oral and written communication skills
• Commitment to accurate recordkeeping and reporting
