Overview
The Community Engagement Director will be responsible for managing positive relationships with key community members, nonprofit organizations, and community partners. The Community Engagement Director will plan, organize, and manage activities to help AHF achieve strategic goals. Additional responsibilities include real estate activities, including land and building acquisitions, site location and leasing matters, and providing subject matter expertise to Executive and Senior Leadership and Board Committees on real estate matters.
Bachelor's Degree in a related area of study or equivalent experience; Master's Degree preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience specializing in community outreach including the development of strategy through implementation. A thorough understanding of community health and DEI principles, practices, and procedures. Experience in health and education is a plus. Ability to work weekends and evenings as needed.
