Our client is a well-established organization that focuses on analytical instrumentation. They are looking to add a Instrumentation Specialist to their team that will help support field technicians and customers that need assistance troubleshooting instrumentation.



Salary/Hourly Rate:

$28/hr Depending on experience



Position Overview:

The Instrumentation Specialist will provide scientific insight to the use of analytical instrumentation as well as troubleshoot customer samples, walk customers through use of instrumentation, and act a subject matter expert for customers on all issues related to instrumentation.



Responsibilities of the Instrumentation Specialist:

  • Demonstrating product usage and training customers in the use of instrumentation
  • Interacting with customers and assisting with customer needs
  • Troubleshooting customer samples
  • Communicating with field service personnel
  • Other technical support duties as needed


Qualifications for the Instrumentation Specialist:

  • Knowledge of Analytical Instrumentation such as Spectroscopy. Experience with optics will also be considered
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong attention to detail


Education Requirements:

  • Associate’s degree with some experience is required
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred
