Housekeeper

Atrium Village is a small facility located just 6 miles south of Iowa City, in the small town of Hills. We have a 20 bed licensed care facility and 28 Independent Living Apartments, all for those age 65 and above.

Housekeeping position is dedicated to our Independent Living Apartments, and would involve the following:

- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing

- Ensure all rooms are cared for and inspected according to standards

- Deal with reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience

- Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of any company-related practices

```Requirements```:

-Long-Term Care or housekeeping experience preferred

- Ability to work with little supervision and maintain a high level of performance

- Customer-oriented and friendly

- Prioritization and time management skills

- Working quickly without compromising quality

- Knowledge of English language

Skills:

- Housekeeping management: Ability to manage housekeeping duties effectively.

- Clean: Ability to clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.

- Industrial cleaning: Knowledge of industrial cleaning equipment and techniques.

- Hospitality: Understanding of hospitality industry standards and practices.

- Floor care: Proficiency in floor care techniques such as vacuuming, mopping. Familiarity with hotel housekeeping procedures and standards.

- Custodial: Knowledge of custodial duties including trash removal, restroom cleaning, and surface disinfection.
