Salary:  US market data minimum $75,000  - $90,000 maximum wage range. You will receive a competitive total rewards package that is applicable to the U.S. only. The salary range may vary based on experience, skillset, and geographical location.

AttainX is looking for a skilled and experienced AWS Cloud Platform Administrator to join our team. As an AWS Cloud Platform Administrator, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing our AWS cloud infrastructure. If you have 5-7 years of experience in AWS cloud administration and possess a strong understanding of AWS services and best practices, this role is perfect for you!

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a related area of study, highly preferred.
• Minimum of five to seven years of experience as an AWS Cloud Platform Administrator, with a strong understanding of AWS services and infrastructure management.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS core services, including EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, IAM, and CloudFormation.
• Experience with monitoring and performance tuning of AWS resources using tools such as CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config.
• Familiarity with AWS security best practices and hands-on experience in implementing security controls and compliance requirements.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python or Bash to automate tasks and build infrastructure as code.
• Attention to detail, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to address issues related to AWS infrastructure and application deployments.
• AWS certifications, such as AWS Certified SysOps Administrator or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are highly desirable.
• Excellent verbal, written communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience working independently and taking initiative.
• Security Clearance – must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a public trust security clearance.

Job Duties:

• Deploy, manage, and monitor AWS cloud resources, including EC2 instances, S3 buckets, RDS databases, and VPC configurations.
• Ensure the availability, performance, and security of our AWS cloud infrastructure by implementing best practices and following industry standards.
• Design and implement scalable and highly available solutions on AWS, leveraging services such as Auto Scaling, Elastic Load Balancing, and CloudFormation.
• Monitor resource utilization and implement cost optimization strategies to maximize efficiency and reduce operational expenses.
• Implement and manage AWS security controls, including IAM policies, security groups, network ACLs, and encryption mechanisms.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as patching, backups, and disaster recovery testing, to ensure the reliability and integrity of our AWS environment.
• Collaborate with development teams to provide guidance and support for deploying applications on AWS, including CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to AWS services, network connectivity, and application deployments, working closely with cross-functional teams.
• Stay updated with the latest AWS services, features, and best practices, and provide recommendations for adopting innovative technologies to enhance our cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and maintain monitoring and logging solutions to proactively identify and address performance and security issues in our AWS environment.
• Document configuration and operational procedures, ensuring accuracy and completeness for future reference.
