RESPONSIBILITIES
This position is a project-based part-time position. It will support a UAS manufacturer by providing contracted instructor support. This is a remote position with approximately 50% travel required. This position is estimated to support 4-8 classes per year, at approximately a week per class.
Responsibilities will include:
- Instructs and certifies UAS operators in accordance with Attollo policy procedures, quality standards, as well as any local, state and federal laws.
- Assists in the development of training curriculum and materials to educate individual users on sUAS operational procedures.
- Conducts flight planning and operations, when necessary, as part of the training courses.
- Reports on schedules, training status, number of students trained in each class and after instruction statements.
- Identifies deficiencies in product and/or curriculum and their impacts in courses.
- Makes recommendations and advises on cost-effective improvements, optimizations, or support efforts for the training.
- Understands customer requirements and ensures training is completed to the highest standard.
- Promotes Attollo and recognizes opportunities for future work.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have 1 year of instructional experience and be able to manage a class size of up to eight.
- Must be able to work well with other instructors during training courses.
- Must be able to communicate effectively, write clearly, be detail oriented, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be US Citizen.
- Must have FAA Part 107 certificate.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- A high school diploma (or equivalent) is required.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience piloting sUAS is required.
- Candidates must have at least 1 year of instructional experience.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
- Experience with Microsoft software, such as Excel, Power point, Word
- A bachelor’s degree is preferred.
