Role Summary:
Join our team as the Bar Manager and become one of the authors of our story. As part of the Auberge du Soleil family, you will be responsible for, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by collaborating with the Food & Beverage management team to achieve operating standards and work closely with staff to deliver Michelin star service. :
Pay Range:
$75 - $80,000
Key Responsibilities:
Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done! Within the Auberge family, our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their teammates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:
- Recruit & train all team members ensuring that talent selection is aligned with company values
- Partner with Learning & Development Manager to strategize training plan on an annual basis to ensure Forbes standards, onboarding, and all other service & compliance training is ongoing & accurately measured
- Ensure the highest standards of communication to all team members including Daily Rallies, and weekly manager meetings, with effective use of all available communication tools
- Develop & mentor the management team to ensure their growth and development is ongoing and meaningful
- Understand all Team Member Handbook policies and ensure that they are enforced
- Maintain overall knowledge of hotel operations including occupancy, arrivals, VIPs, GIRs, hours of operation of all areas, catering schedules, and financial performance of the areas under your supervision
- Maintain complete knowledge of all food and beverage on menus in Restaurant, Bistro & Pool Bar including service protocols/equipment, distinguishing characteristics & 0preparation of each food and beverage item
- Manage POS and all related access & procedures
- Adhere to and ensure enforcement of all compliance-related matters, including labor law, alcohol policies, and all other company policies
- Understanding of expenses and payroll cost control.

- Recruitment and selection
- Performance management
- Heartfelt & genuine interest in the development of talent
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, including in front of a group, with the ability to communicate detailed instructions and hold the team accountable for results.
Required Qualifications:
- Prior management experience in an upscale dining restaurant
- Proven management and administrative skills
- Responsible Beverage Service Certification
