Designer
Aubright sets the gold standard in plastic fabrication of custom components, products and display fixtures for the retail/visual merchandising, manufacturing (OEM) and powersports markets. We are currently seeking a Designer for our powersports/OEM division. Are you an outdoor enthusiast? Come join our team!
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and engineer powersports/OEM components using 3-D modeling software
- Create production drawings and determine proper manufacturing tolerances
- Works closely with QC and the customer on materials, build dates and part validation
- Works closely with estimating, customer service and purchasing to keep project on time and within budget
- Create tooling for vacuum/drape form components using 3-D modeling software
- Determine proper feasibility, performance and reliability during design process
Preferred Requirements:
- Experience designing and bringing product into production
- Proficiency in 3D CAD Software (preferably SolidWorks)
- Understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail oriented and superb organization skills
- Advance arithmetic skills and ability to read blueprints
- High level of creativity
- Able to measure with caliper, micrometer, and standard tape measure
- Must be adaptable to change and possess good trouble-shooting skills
- Illustrator, Microsoft Office Suite, PDM Vault, AutoCAD all are a plus
- General understanding and knowledge of the powersports industry
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or;
- Associates degree in related field along with 2 years successful work experience as a designer (plastics experience a plus)

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
