Financial Analyst

Our Support Center in Westminster, MA is hiring a Financial Analyst to work in a remote or hybrid environment. This position requires you to be located within the New England area. Candidates open to commuting to Westminster, MA monthly are preferred.

What we are looking for:

• Develop and present modeling and reporting that assists with company decision making.
• Create pro forma financial statements for potential store acquisitions.
• Take part in the month-end close and ensure compliance to monthly/quarterly/annual close schedule.
• Analyze financial data and provide forecasting and annual budgeting support to management throughout the organization
• Suggest improvements in processes to increase effectiveness of the department.
• Review financial performance versus forecast with store & regional support teams.
• Contribute to the preparation and processing of weekly & monthly reports, which include key metrics, financial results, and variance reporting.
• Analyze financial information detailing revenue, expenses, and other accounts to summarize current and projected financial position of WEA.
• Review monthly actuals and provide variance analysis, helping department owners manage to plan.
• Other duties as assigned.

What we are looking for from you:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred.
• 5 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, financial planning & analysis, or other related fields.
• Modeling and reporting experience required.
• Advanced Excel experience required.
• Google Suite experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge and experience of month and year end close.
• Advanced understanding of data mining tools including Access or SQL.
• Tableau or Microsoft Power BI experience preferred.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
