We are looking for an Account Manager to focus on our strategic Foundation customers - managing their programs, operations, and events. The Account Manager is a natural leader. They are passionate about building and engaging communities to create long term impact in organizations. Big-picture thinking, creative solutions, effective project management and quick action are innate characteristics of this person. They thrive in complex environments where they drive communication and are accountable for overall goal achievement.


The Account Manager will oversee all aspects of ongoing accounts, guide strategy, ensure objectives and deadlines are met, and provide thoughtful solutions and recommendations. Key client objectives could include organizational growth, organic collaboration, leading marketing and communication efforts, increased consumer retention and product innovation. The Account Manager will work closely with stakeholders to recommend tailored solutions including convenings, technology, marketing or growth plans. They will create and lead each project plan, and communicate ongoing updates to team members, clients and partners. They will own the client relationship, manage the budget, and direct the internal account team. They will need to comfortably facilitate meetings and quickly interpret needs into action.


You'll spend your days on the following:

• Project manage complex programs (in person and virtual) with intersecting clients, events, and teams.

• Establish oneself as client point of contact, industry expert and project lead.

• Direct strategic concepts and execution marketing and communication efforts and convenings.

• Proactively and assertively communicate updates, delegations and expectations to clients, team members and partners.

• Schedule and lead strategic client and team meetings.

• Create and update budgets throughout program development.

• Deliver new and creative ideas on a consistent basis.

• Research and interpret relevant information to compose informative presentation documents.

• Accept and react to constant changes.

• Source and manage vendors and adeptly control contract negotiations.

• Manage client fundraising efforts, sponsor relationships and fulfillment

• Lead board and committee meetings and facilitate collection of materials and required documents

• Ensure project and program deliverables are being met and adjust scope as needed

• Manage field experts in grant writing and execution

• Take active role in reselling current business.

• Travel approximately 15% percent of the year. Could include physical travel or in-office 'onsite' execution) long hours with multiple moving parts that need to be closely managed at all times. Constant communication, facilitation, adaptability and problem solving are crucial.

What you need to be successful in this role:

• A Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field of study. 3 years of experience in project management, preferably in the areas of entrepreneurship or marketing.
