LPN

We are looking for a reliable LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to care for people in a professional and considerate manner. LPN professionals must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care to those who need it while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding.

Responsibilities

• Record a patient’s medical history accurately.
• Assist with treatments ordered by provider as supervised by provider or registered nurse. Performs select clinical duties.
• Interviews patients, measures vital signs, and records information on patients' chart and EMR system. Prepares treatment rooms for examination of patients.
• Performs basic clerical duties including answering the phone and maintaining records.
• Assisting with maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
• Documenting the provider's encounter with patients. Lists all proper diagnoses and symptoms, as well as follow-up instructions and prescriptions, as indicated by the provider. Transcribes patient orders including, but not limited to, laboratory tests, radiology tests and medications.

Skills

• Proven experience as LPN or similar role
• Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work in a multidisciplinary team
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
• Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices
• Excellent knowledge of medical and hospital terminology
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and able to handle stress
• Ability to prioritize needs and plan work accordingly.
• Knowledge of HIPPA.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen.
• Successful completion of LPN license program is a must

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
