About the Job
As a Maintenance Technician at Aulani, A Disney Resort and Spa, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel's equipment and facilities. This includes diagnosing and repairing electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, gas, and fire safety systems, as well as responding to guest inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities
- Implement preventative maintenance and service of all equipment, including Energy Management Systems, motors, starters, breakers, pumps, chillers, and associated equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot all repairs of equipment, including electrical, HVAC, plumbing, refrigeration, gas, and fire safety systems.
- Respond to all emergency conditions, including fire alarms, HVAC failures, power outages, and security alarms.
- Support after-hours building needs and activities as required.
- Perform and manage technically complex projects using independent judgment and personal initiative.
- Respond to guest calls regarding maintenance of rooms and equipment in rooms or public areas.
- Adapt and respond to all additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Must currently hold and maintain a Hawaii State Electrical License.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Strong customer and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Aptitude for organizing tasks, managing time, and prioritizing projects.
