Description
This position is a very flexible part time position that mainly assists the venue manager during the week and also helps on Saturdays with events set up.
During the week, this shift will be responsible for pulling wine orders for the upcoming wedding, overseeing/stocking the Farmhouse with supplies/toiletries, putting together the gift basket for that weeks couple, checking in with the Groundskeeper, cleaning/organizing the storage barn, checking estate/farmhouse restroom supplies, keeping an eye on the properties for small maintenance jobs (chipped paint, missing farmhouse inventory, broken items, etc.), alerting the Venue Logistics Coordinator and taking care of any tasks that need to be added to the to-do (stray weeds, messy dumpster area, lawn or tree care).
On Saturdays, as an Aurora Representative, you will be onsite with your manger to welcome & direct vendors on the day of the event, answer questions, ensure tent set up is correct, prevent vendors from driving on the lawn (unless special directions have been given by your manager), put out signs to direct traffic, welcome and direct guests as needed, and generally assist your manager with any tasks or situations that may come up.
