Aurora Parts & Accessories, LLC. is a leading provider of aftermarket service solutions for heavy duty trailer equipment in North America. In addition, Aurora is the OE after-market parts distributer of Wabash National, Great Dane, Utility and Fruehauf US trailers. To better serve the customer, Aurora has developed the industry 's most complete network of independently owned dealerships providing both part sales and trailer repair services.
Aurora is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist to maintain and grow our infrastructure. This position will consist of a variety of job functions. Including, but not limited to setting up and maintaining all user workstations. Assisting users with all Microsoft applications including creating/maintaining users in active directory both on premise and in the cloud.
Responsibilities and Activities
- Participate in maintenance of current infrastructure hardware (HP Aruba Switches, Wireless Access Points, Backup Devices).
- Assist in managing Active Directory
- Assist in managing on-premises and VMWare Virtual servers.
- Image/Set-up new workstations.
- Participate in Mitel 3300 Phone system maintenance.
- Identify potential weakness or problems and recommend hardware/software upgrades to ensure proper performance.
- Perform helpdesk monitoring and customer support.
- Assist in SSL certificates management.
- Configure & Maintain printers (corporate, wired, wireless and handheld).
- Configuring & Maintain RF Scan guns.
- Support Microsoft O365 including Outlook, SharePoint, CRM, & PowerBI.
- Support remote users.
- Monitoring and routing of infrastructure alerts (SonicWall firewalls, HP Aruba Switches, Windows Servers, etc.).
- Administer File and Printer Servers.
- Ability to work nights and weekends, participating in on-call rotations.
- Update monthly departmental reporting metrics.
- Knowledge of SOTI MDM software a plus.
- Working knowledge of Virtual Machine administration using VMware ESX 6.7 valuable.
- Experience with enterprise level Windows update and server patching useful.
- Strong knowledge of network architecture beneficial.
Requirements
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related Technology Degree preferred or equivalent experience.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years' technical team experience, preferably in a fast-paced IT Operations and Support environment.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory & Azure AD, System Center Configuration Manger (SCCM), O365, Microsoft Teams, & SharePoint.
This position does have some travel requirements. Travel, up to 5%, is required in this position.
