Austad's has been a staple in Iowa for decades; we are incredibly excited to bring our fitting prowess and golf expertise to Des Moines! Our new state of the art location is filled with fitting studios, touch screens, a Puttview green, golf clubs and all the great golf product our customers love! Austad’s seeks a Manager who can effectively manage/develop staff, deliver a premium customer experience, merchandise the store perfectly, beat sales/profitability goals, organize events (Sidewalk Sales, Golf Expos…etc) and think outside of the box to drive better customer experiences and revenue growth.

Tasks:

• Completes the store operational requirements – employee scheduling, budgeting, inventory…etc
• Hires/develops a talented team of Sales Associates with support from Corporate
• Conducts employee performance reviews
• Achieves financial objectives by reviewing available data and initiating corrective actions
• Integrates into the community creating relationships and opportunities for more business
• Manages the store aesthetic and merchandising to maximize sales
• Voicing ideas/strategies to corporate based on what is seen on the sales floor
• Tightly manages inventory to ensure minimal shrink
• Enforces all corporate policies to ensure store runs at or above the corporate standards set
• Is trusted to securely deliver deposits to the bank daily
• Creates a store culture that is fun, engaging and productive

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
