Chemical Sourcing Associate; Inside Sales

Job Description

We are seeking a Sales Associate in our chemical sourcing and procurement department to process primary account inquiries, maintain customer and supplier relationships, and support business development objectives. The individual must be flexible (multi-tasking capable), extremely organized and detail oriented; demonstrating the ability to learn quickly and thrive in a fast-paced environment. This person will be directly responsible for performing the following tasks:

  • Fulfilling customer inquiries
  • Solicitation of bids from vendors
  • Quotations to customers
  • Data entry into ERP software system
  • Tracking and Follow up of Opportunities and Projects
  • Routine business progression

Requirements

Associate Degree (Chemistry, Life Science) preferred

The person we are seeking must possess excellent written and oral communications capabilities as there is routine interaction with both customers and suppliers in this position. Organizational, multi-tasking, and follow-through skills are important. Minimum clerical skill set requirements include:

Typing min. 55 wpm

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office

Prior experience with ERP software system(s) a bonus

Salary commensurate with experience.

Hybrid work schedule available after one year of employment (WFH Up to 2 Days per week)
