In primarily commercial settings, install, retrofit, troubleshoot, and repair:
-CCTV systems and surveillance cameras
-Network hardware such as wireless radios, routers, switches, and PoE devices
-Access control systems
-Vehicle gate systems
-Intrusion alarms
-Audio/Video systems including 70-volt commercial audio and television installs
-Pull, terminate, and troubleshoot low voltage cabling/fiber
-Perform cable/fiber installations in controlled environments e.g. data centers
-Complete workbench projects such as assembling and installing electronic components
-Perform ongoing maintenance and service work
-Other duties as assigned
-Position requires some working outdoors in most types of weather
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Must be responsible for tools, materials inventory, and upkeep daily on the job site, including site preparation and clean-up throughout the job.
-Must have solid attention to detail, labeling, and record-keeping of installation and service work.
-Ensure that the highest level of safety and quality control requirements are upheld.
-Ensure that work is performed in accordance with all safety and quality guidelines and expectations.
SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
-Must be a good communicator, must be reliable and on-time.
-Applicants must have at least a high school diploma or GED.
-Must hold a valid driver’s license and have reliable transportation.
-Must have a working knowledge of fall prevention standards, practicing good safety daily.
-Must be able to squat, crawl, stoop, climb, carry, bend at the knees and waist, lift, hold, and secure equipment up to 50 lbs., including consideration of body weight, equipment, tools, etc.
-Must demonstrate proper use of standard tools, saws, drills, ladders, etc. at all times.
-Must have the ability to safely operate aerial lifts, man lifts, bucket truck/lifts, and aerial platform equipment.
-Must have acceptable results during pre-employment screening including background checks and drug screening. We are a drug-free workplace.
