What are the responsibilities and job description for the Brand APAC Summer Intern position at Authentic?
What You’ll Do
The Business Development/Brand APAC Summer (June-August) Intern will be trained in the nuts and bolts of the brand licensing business. You'll be mentored by experienced internal leaders who will advise and help you succeed and develop exceptional business acumen. You will be trained and assist in generating new business by identifying and qualifying leads to join Authentic's global network of licensing partners in the wholesale, retail, and online marketplace sectors. From identifying target licensing partners and executing top-notch qualification tactics, you will gain 360-degree knowledge of expanding Authentic's partnership universe.
What you’ll be working on
- General Administration
- Online and offline retail channel review
- Online and offline store visits of our brands and competitor brands to make sure aesthetics/products/VM up to standard
- Prepare, translate, and review legal documents
- Assist on daily communication with local partners and regular reporting to HQ
- Coordinate schedules and arrangements for executive visits.
- Legal paperwork preparation
- Partner relationship maintenance
Must Haves
- Currently enrolled university student
- Able to work up to 20 hours per week
- Able to work onsite in our New York City Office
- Willingness to get your hands dirty and make things happen
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortability in a high-paced, collaborative environment
- Detail oriented
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel and G Suite
- Process-driven and constantly looking for ways to streamline and simplify complex tasks
Primary Location Salary Range:
The hourly rate for an undergraduate student intern in New York is $16.
The hourly rate for a graduate student intern in New York is $20.
