What are the responsibilities and job description for the Scheduling Coordinator position at Autism Behavior Services Inc.?

SUMMARY:
Our company is looking for an Administrative Assistant- Scheduler to be responsible for handling client and staff scheduling. You will be required to make and revise schedules in our Rethink system, coordinate training schedules, track and maintain staff and client availability, take cancellation calls, and find subs for team member cases for call-offs. Other duties will be assigned as needed.
In order for you to be selected as a candidate, you will need the ability to write clearly and be proficient with word processing applications. A pleasing personality with strong communication skills is also highly valued.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Scheduling clients and team members including training
  • Communicating absences with HR and department managers
  • Resolving absences and preventing cancellations by finding substitutes

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor Degree or in Progress Encouraged- preferred Communication, Business, Liberal Arts, Healthcare, Organizational Management
  • 1 year of experience in an Administrative Assistant or Scheduling role.
  • Experience providing high-level administrative assistance to executive level staff.
  • Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates initiative to accomplish goals with minimal supervision.

LANGUAGE SKILLS:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook), Adobe Acrobat.

COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
